Is anyone having problems with the upholstery in their XA or Xb??? I've only had my car for four months and their is visible wear and "pilling" i guess of the fabric. It's in the lower back area of the drivers side....obviously that seat gets the most use, but i'm not doing anything unusual to make it wear more. If this keeps up it will be shot in a couple years....what can I do??? Might that be covered under a warranty or is that considered a defect??[/u]

 

Check what you wear on a regular basis that may be rubbing that area, I had a friend whose belt had a rough edge and would catch the fabric of the seat, and someone else here had the same issue with velcro on his pants...

 

That's the wierd thing...I never wear belts or anything else that might damage the upholstery. That's what I don't understand. Thanks for the reply though!!.

 

Here's a thought .. do you wear a watch? on your right arm? If you're reaching in your car and happen to have your watch bump the seat pilling may occur.
Also, do you keep your wallet in your back pocket? This might be a factor as well. Hope this helps.
