you should buy an IS....then get a bunch of fiberglass and built an off the wall box-body kit!

I doubt an inline 6 will fit up there, besides the fact that I don't think there are any front drive trannies for the engine.
Anything is possible with enough money.

Maybe the Atezza turbo 4?

the 2j will in no way fit. it is impossible unless you move the dash to the rear seat.

This swap would require a rediculous amount of work. Go pop the hood of an IS or a Gen. IV Supra. That 6 cylinder is way to long to mount transversly in FWD car and finding a tranny to do FWD application would be nearly impossible since that engine was never designed for FWD. RWD... well.. tub the car out and prepare to have part of that engine in the cabin. Good Luck! It would definitely be a project and something interesting to see.

you could pull the rear seats and mount the motor behind the front seats and make a mid engine RWD scion anything can be done with money, but just cause you can doesn't mean you should

Well, two things have been tried--don't know the results though.

Celica GT/GT-S
and

MR2 Turbo.

A 1ZZ-FE in an xA would deffinitely be fun.. a 2ZZ-GE in an xA would be REAL fun.. i don't see why it would be such a hard swap. Id like to see how the weight distribution changes if anything.

those 200s were european, right? methinks they were always altezza in japan.

Hah yea I was gonna say, put a Celica GT-S motor in there, 180hp and all kinda revs.

Well, there was an IS200 - in europe. Since it was marketed under Lexus, it wasn't called Altezza.

And I don't think that final question was necessary, haha.
