Default Just got a "new" 06 xB... But having problems with

Just went out an bought a new toaster! Loving it so far!

Anyhow, it came with an aftermarket alarm installed. An Autopage RF-420LCD. Anyone have one installed in their box? I was able to print off the transmitter guide from their website, but I can't for life of me, find a wiring diagram for it. I have the xB wiring guide but that won't do me any good trying to figure out why the Autopage no longer works.

Anyone have have access to the RF-420 installation instructions?

Thanks,
Justin

just get the scion security. Nobody is going to run to a car and try and save it if the alarm goes off. None of the security guards i work with do when one goes off here at the airport does. we have 400 officers too.

Yeah, but I figured since I payed for it (with the car) I might as well try and get it working. It is an RF model so it has a 2-way key fob with about 2000ft range.

I live in a high car theft area as well (Tucson, AZ).

hmmmm. Not many people fancy boxes b/x the are ugly, as most people tell me..... But if your going to add a whole bunch of aftermarket stuff to your car then, yeah, i guess it would be worth it. But if someone really wanted to steal your car, they would do it. With or without a car alarm, someone will steal it. And the law is on the thief's side. You can't hurt the guy if you catch him, or else YOU will be in trouble. I would just return it and get your money back and buy something else with that money.

Thanks evilxb, but that's just for the remote. I was able to find the install manual though on the12volt.com. Thanks though!

Yeah, people will steal a car with or without an alarm, but I'll make it as difficult as possible for them. Can't take the alarm back as it was sold with the car. It's not as if the alarm is worth much, but I'm a man of principals. So I WILL get it working ;)

x2 on the thief and the law... Here most cars are stolen and brought across the mexican border never to be seen again. If they are an illegal they will just be deported and serve almost no time. Of course if anyone tries to steal it (or any of my other vehicles) while I'm in it, they are going to get a face full of .357.
