Very nice product. Looks 100% OEM. Installation wasn't hard at all. The only part that gave me a little trouble was the putting the two plastic stabilizers on the side of the console. It was kinda tough getting them positioned right, and tucked under the carpet without cutting the carpet (I didn't want to do that). I debated about skipping the two stabilizers when they started giving me greif, but I'm glad I didn't. You really should use them because of the lateral leverage the tall armrest has. The rest of the install was a breeze. It's not in the way of the e-brake or the seatbelt latches at all. The only thing that feels slightly odd to me, is that when I shift (I have a manual) I feel like my wrist is at a little bit of a stange angle now. Nothing bad, just different. Once your in a cruising gear, it's great to just relax and enjoy the rest. It's very comfortable. If you have an auto trans, you'll love it even more. I'm glad I bought it.

With the Boomerang armrest, I get the "digging in the trashcan" feeling in my arm when I shift. The TWM short shifter doesn't help, either. In my tutorial, I pointed out a gap between the rear of the console and the floor of the car. I got an email from the Chris Fischer at Boomerang. He said there shouldn't be a gap and that I installed the stabilizers wrong. I'm gonna go outside right and check the difference. I'll be back with a new pic.

 

I don't have a gap at all. You have to push the stabilizers all the way back until they can't go anymore :D .

 

Chris at Boomerang told me the stabilizers only cover 1/2" to 3/4" of the flanges. I went ahead and repositioned them. The gap is minimal now...

Also, with the armrest getting in the way. I wish the armrest was 2" shorter, at least in my xA. I feel much more comfortable shifting with the armrest console box open...
