Just ordered a '05 Polar White xB
Took the time to go down to the dealership today, power scion of irvine, and put down a deposit for a '05 Polar White xB with manual trans, foglamps and spoiler.
The sales guy said 4-6 weeks but how long does it usually take?
Short review:
I test drove an automatic and here are some things I noticed.
1) Exhaust is definately noticable and much louder than I thought.
2)Not as slow as I thought even though it is dirt slow.
3)The backseats provide plenty of room for the passengers.
4)Trunk is awfully small
5)Good value overall for this box

Seems like there are less of the manual available. Knowing their target purchasers, younger people, manual should have been more available. We got an automatic, because it was all they had, and it was almost a toss-up for me, so I got the auto. Saves the arms from shifting, but you can't get above 1k rpm coming off from a light. I would imagine that the difference between the speed for both cars is almost totally the time it takes the auto to get to around 3k where you can feel all the horses start to work. Am happy with the auto, and it is getting more to my liking as I add my mods, so wouldn't want it any other way now. Have fun with it when it arrvies.
Nice, for sure I will see you around.
They only had 2 blue automatics on the lot so I was definately not in luck. If they had a white manual I would have picked it up right there without thinking.

PW rocks, gotta keep it clean though. hopefully your dealer can do a trade with another local dealer and get you one quicker, but even if they can't 4 weeks wil probably be the longest.
Welcome to the fam

at crown toyota in ontario i got the guy to order 3 colors for me to choose from..(manual) bsp, bcp,cm. but unfortunately the wait was too long so i got a call from glendora and bought my bsp there. the cars from crown should be arriving in about 2 weeks or so.. so whoever is looking for one they will definitely have it in less than 4 weeks.
congrats on your new car.
