Well I just got back from test driving a manual 06 xB. They didn't have a Black one so I got put on the waiting list. Things are freakin sweeeeeeeeeeet. Im 20 and this is my first BRAND new car!!!! But the third car that I own lol.... yea my parents are like we don't own a parking lot. I cant wait for it to arrive. Finally I have a A/C and a working radio lol.
I was amazed at how roomy they are. Very nice cars for that price. My parents loved it too. First thing my mom said was "it looks like an ice cream truck" I started laughing so hard because I kind of agreed. But its a sweet ice cream truck. O well just thought I'd share. I'm all excited and crap......silly kids.

Congrats on the purchase. I went through the same as you. This was my first new and nice car where everything worked.

 

Congrats. Black is one of the better looking colors IMO. When I go for my Scion, it will be my first truly new car
& will make the 4th car I have had in the 5 years I have been able to drive.
My current car might be a 05 Focus, but I did buy it with 4.3k miles on it.

I am planning on getting an xB in February, which will be my first new car, too. I'm stuck deciding between colors though. Right now white and black are my top 2 choices.

First car = $500 beater camaro Pitched in $100, 2nd car = $3k Beater El Camino Pitched in $500, 3rd car = $15,000 Focus <mother only put 2.5k down rest is me, 4th car = $xxxxx.xx <will use focus as trade in & pay everything my self. It just helps to have a good job. I might only make $1,100 a month, but I dont have to pay for food or rent

Second car- traded my parents for their Festiva becuase it would be easier for me to maintain.
Third car 84 olds cutlass supreme AKA the exxon valdez traded it for the Festiva because it was makin funny noises
Fourth car 89 Cougar- I LOVED THAT CAR- stuffed it up a chevy pickup
Fifth Car 1985 Crown Victoria still have it
Sixth Car 1992 Crown Victoria sold because it sucked
Seventh Car 1973 Chevy Pickup- the beast
First New Car- My 05 CamoBox

my very first car was a 71 FURY III with a 360 it was a fun car but finding parts for it was a pain in the rear!!!

 

Spoiled??? I work hard for my ____. I have 2 Nissan 240sx's and now a Scion. Insurance is only 200 month. For all my cars lol. The xB is my primary and has full coverage, while my 240's have liability.
Plus I don't drive my good 240 that much. Now I'm going to make my other 240 a parts car for me and my bro. In no way am I spoiled.

I'm with you on that "Spoiled??" shoot i have to cough up 5 G's so that i got to the payments of only $200. a month but i mainly got the car because of my daugther. and my insurance is only $250.00 full coverage.Also "in no way am i spoiled too"

My xB is my first brand new car too!!! I'm only 21 and this is my 7th vehicle Don't give me crap either, there have been several times in my life where I have had 3 jobs at once to have these cars.
