Default Keyless Entry "Lock" button not working

Ok so this morning it worked and this afternoon it didn't. I tried the other one and it didnt work either so it has to be the car or something I did. The unlock works but the lock nothing. Did I press the buttons in some order to reprogram something or what. I thought I would post on here to see if I could get an answer before going to the dealer just incase its something real easy to fix. Thanks for any help you can give me.

When that happens to me its because the battery inside shifted a little and wasnt getting a full contact. Giving it a good whack on a hard object always fixes it for me.

mine quit working when I pulled my battery during my headunit install. It would lock but it wouldn't unlock but a few feet from the car. after a while, it was fine again.

I just think its odd that it worked this morning and now it doesnt. Both unlocks work and both locks dont on the key pads wich has to mean its the car right cuz i havent used the second keypad ever. We'll see what the dealer has to say about it tomorrow. Hopefully something just came loose.

What i figured out from past experience, that when i didnt close the door all the way & it was slighty open the unlock button would work but not the lock. For a while couldnt figure out why, but now i know that if not all the doors are fully closed the lock function on the remote will not work. but thats just me & my car dont know if thats the same probelm w/ your car or remote.

Sounds like a warranty issue. Go have it looked at, it's FREE!

You are all correct!!!!! On my way to work this morning I noticed that the open door light was on. When I got to work I checked all the doors and hatch. It was the hatch I didnt close it good enough after washing it. So then when I tried the lock button sure enough it worked. I'm glad I didn't go to the dealer they would of spent hours trying to figure it out while I waited in the lounge watching Bonanza.
