That's cool. I'd love to see a close-up pic of how it mounts to the car. Is it attached to the hatch door, or below it on the bumper? I can't picture in my head how there would be room for it.

it is attached to the bump running the wires are a whole lot easier that why ....and i used twosided tape by 3m to put it on

Is the strip black or clear? Reason I ask is because our xB is a RS 2.0 (Solar Yellow). Anything other than clear is going to be pretty noticeable. I would like it if the only time you even noticed it, was when it would light up.

I'm not so sure it would be illegal. I'f it was a color other than red it might be. But since it comes on with turn signals or brake lights it would probably be ok.

Line of Fire is legal in CA as long as you dont have it flashing or doing the "wave" all the time. If it is on solid all the time that's cool, if it flashes with the blinker, that's cool...
