So, I've got the moon discs, the white walls and the ragtop...pretty much all I need now is some sort of demonic possession to bring it to life so I can take it on the NASCAR circuit. I know not everyone is into the old school look, but I happen to enjoy it. It's a liitle bit different than everything else out there. Hopefully I will have some pictures to share with everyone tomorrow!

Nope, not the panoramic roof, it's the ragtop.
And the tires are real or painted. I'm using something called porta-walls. It's kinda like an insert that beads in with the tire to make any tire look like a whitewall. It's a trick a lot of VW use apparently.

I'm glad everyone seems to like it, I know love it. The next thing I am considering doing is lowering it a bit.

 

Thanks for the info. Can you/do you have apic of the rag top, that is closer? Just curious.

So the rag top is removable kinda like a soft-top convertable? No glass?

 

Two birds with one stone:

I got the porta-walls off of Ebay. I believe the guy's username is "aircooledforeigncom" or something to that effect.

The ragtop isn't removable, it's power folding. It's a Webasto product.

 

That BOP looks good. How much was the sunroof??
