My Scion story. I bought this used in the summer/fall 2005 it had 32,000 miles on her. I traded her in on 5/22/2014 with 165620 miles. All in all I must say this has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. 2 sets of tires, belt & hoses, 2 brake jobs and a battery is all she cost me. I did have the Trac, Ck Eng and another light come on and that was a vacuum hose that came lose and the dealer fixed it for free. I did take her in for scheduled maintenance.

For 4 years she served me well at work running computer service calls. Lots of room and great gas mileage. In late 2010 I had a family situation that required me to drive all over east and central Texas. This Scion was ready and I was able to take care of all I was responsible for. I am now retired from the computer crap and the family issues have passed and I sure wanted something with more power (speed limit in Texas is 80 in a lot of places) and more comfortable. I wanted a truck and as I type this I can hear my son saying "Dad, you need a truck" so I got a red Toyota Tacoma Pre Runner SR5.

Scion xB Pros:
Mechanically, as tough as they come.
Gas mileage
Fun to drive
versatile (lots of space for stuff).

Scion xB Cons:
Uncomfortable for long trips.
Can't tow anything.
