Default Magnaflow customer service = PATHETIC

I have the Magnaflow Cat-Back system on my Xb. About two weeks ago it broke on the weld right behind the resonator. Magnaflow says they will warranty it, but I have yet to manage to get them to ship the replacement part. I have emailed the company that I purchased it from multiple times but there is nothing they can do until Magnaflow ships it. I think it is rediculous that they offer a lifetime warranty but then won't replace broken parts in a timely manner. I finally got totally fed up with the noise and rattle and had it temporarily welded today. Sorry to vent here - but I needed to complain somewhere!

It could be that the business you bought the exhaust from is the one lagging.

I don't work for Magnaflow, but I do know that items are shipped out on a regular basis and special orders go out just as quick.

Have you talked to anyone at Magnaflow?

Did the business you bought the exhaust from show you documetation that they contacted and ordere the part from Magnaflow?

I'm not trying to take sides or lay blame. Just a few things to consider.

I honestly believe the guy at the company that he is trying to get Magnaflow to ship this part. He said it is always a problem with Maganaflow on warranty parts. And, why wouldn't he want them to send me the part so I would quit bothering him?

P.S. That Overhaulin comment was funny!
