Default -< MASSIVE Electrical Problem-HELP! (New Info)

big problems i need to take care of ASAP. to satrt off ill let you know that when i left work last night everything was fine. on the way home i bought some fabric to black out the rear side windows. i struggled with that little project for a couple hours . i involved pulling apart the rear interior panels which i have run a couple LEDS into. other than my system thats the only electrical back there other than the stock stuff.

so that might not be at all related but...i started up my car this morning and watched my double din JVC EXAD in dash dvd turn on. it connected quickly to my ipod. after a few akward seconds i realized that there was no signal to the mids or highs. the sub was hitting but not as hard as it should have. at this point i figured i messed somthin up last night. then i turned on my parking lights which also turn on some interior LEDS and my headlight halos. i turned them off and popped the hood to inspect for anything out of the ordinary. i then got back and the car and went to turn them back on---NOTHING. none of the LEDS, halos, or parking / tail lights would turn back on...

i checked a few fuses (not all, i had to leave) that seemed fine. when i use the hazards i can see all the parking & brake lights still work. it seems to me like the problem may have started with the HU and moved outward when i flipped on the parking lights. but i clould be wrong, im totally puzzled and i goota get it taken car of. dirving at night ist exactly safe w /o tail lights

HELP

i read a post a while back about this guy that bought an xB and drove it home and that same night all of his lights stopped working, tail lights, parking lights, everything...mine has a slight electrical problem, one of my headlights is dim, i corrected that by putting the HIDS in there and wiring the relay to the good socket...i dont know whats going on but there are alot of xB's with electrical problems

it was probably mine, the day I picked mine up the lights shut off, they said it was the alternator and it was too small and I was going to have to pay 3*** for a new one, the right one

okay... the problem was that one of the bolts that holds in the rear interior panels hit a speaker wire as it was being screwed in. this freaked out the HU's signal to the mids and highs and blew the "tail" fuse in my car. so i got the exterior lights working and the stereo is all set. but now for a twist...the speedo will not turn on with the lights (DAMN!!). and my interior LEDs that are wired into the center console blow the "tail" fuse if flipped on. im so aggrivated. i think i may have fried somthin since the speedo wont light. the panel still works, but it dosent respond to the headlight turning on. any new input for the new hurdles??

your taillights (parking lights) are still not working, you probably have a vsc and trac light on too. make sure the parking light fuse isn't blown and check the parking light bulbs in the back to make sure their not blown as well.
