That calculator is neat - answers a lot of questions.

Why would Toyota do that??? Why would they knowingly select a tire size that distorts speed and odo readings????

I mean, what's the diff between using 185 USA and 195 in Japan?

Makes you wonder what else they let slide knowingly . . . .

probably has something to do with cost cutting, and when they made the speedo for the box, they just hastily converted it from kph to mph and didn't calibrate very well.

They only changed the faceplate. No calibration changes. That's why the speedo is off. It's dead on with the larger 185/65/15 bB tire size.
