Default Muffler good or bad?

I was just wondering if anyone had bought this muffler off EBAY? If so are you happy with it?

wayyy to ricie for me.... not specificly designed for the scion so i wouldnt waste my money on it. I dont like the purple tint on the tip so i think its a waste. Maybe a good magnaflow muffler is the way to go without breaking your bank, not a fulll system but just the muffler for like 40 bucks

"It will increase up to 8-12 horsepower"

Oh man, you GOT to get this...*sarcasm*

Stuff like that, you should never get unless you already have a cat-back or axle-back, it's mostly a looks thing, it wouldn't add any performace, just make it loud.

I am not looking for horsepower, just some sound.

Dude...I have it. I went to the local muffler shop and had them do a custom cat-back with 2.25 inch exhaust. It sounds really good....better than my buddies trd by a long shot.

Just cause it sounds better to HIM, doesn't mean it'll sound better to you. What's loud and obnoxious to some people, can sound badass to other people. just my 2 cents.

It is not loud or obnoxious. Have you actually heard an xB with this set-up or are you just speculating. The sound is very deep...not buzzy or ricey. I am 34 years ols with two little girls under the age of two....loud cabin noise ain't my bag. With the silencer in it sounds very good.

In fact, it looks a WHOLE lot like the "tunable" muffler on the rs2.0...like exactly.
