Mwahahahahaha (top speed related)
i've gone faster then that. one time on the way to san diego i had my speedo past 120 and it was bouncing off the rev limiter in 5th gear. so pretty much i topped out. i couldn't do that before i had my SPFR intake so i guess that 1.42 hp helped out a little bit! this was when i was on springs, not air suspension by the way. and no, i don't recommend you try this. and NO i am not going to do it again and take a picture. the car wasn't shaking but i was, just thinking what would happen if i had to swerve out of the way or something. but i wanted to see the top speed.
i've gone over 140 in my wrx before so it wasn't that big of a deal for me except this engine has about 1/3 of the power of that car.

Don't forget - 30 MPH over the speed limit and they can haul your A$$ in for reckless driving...
Of course they have to catch you doing it... and catch you after they see it.

This was on Highway 17 outside of Phoenix, about 10 or 15 miles north of Anthem where it starts to climb into the mountains.
Right around midnight, deserted highway, clear cool night, about 70 degrees out.
I was able to keep it right around 100 for more than 10-15 minutes of driving with no problem, gotta love Arizona.

Then again, the speed limit here is 75 mph, so you have to be going over 105 mpg to be driving recklessly.
I just want to make one thing clear. I do NOT take driving at that speed lightly. I do not recommend or condone anyone else trying that unless you are an experienced driver and you are on an open road you are familiar with without other cars around and well outside urban areas. It needs to be taken very seriously, sure it's fun to push your foot to the floor and keep it there long enough for your leg to start getting tired :D but most of us do not live in an area where there is a road where it is practical or safe to do that.
Driving that fast requires absolute focus and precision, there is little room for error as you start moving into a turn or get buffetted by a crosswind--- or have to make an evasive move to avoid something or because of a blow out. Any collision or accident that that speed would almost definitely be fatal.
I wouldn't think of it if I was not a very experienced driver---note the steady hand on the wheel and clear pic I took ;) and I had all the factors: empty road in rural area that I was familiar with etc.
Be careful.
I'm surprised to hear anyone has gone faster. I had my foot to the floor mashing the pedal down for 5 minutes before I got up to 110 mph and that was all there was, and this was on a very slight decline. I can't imagine a CAI would make that much of a difference.
i have yet to get my box past 85mph. i plan on testing it out once i get my wheels and tires and take a trip down I-40. i really hope my box can top out at 115 or higher. question, were you on your stock tires and wheels, also did you have your spare and jack in the car at the time? if you did take them out try it again and you may be able to hit 120
