Default My wife wants an xB now!!

Well my wife rode in my xB a few times now and likes that it gets 33+MPG.Likes the way it looks and likes the fact that she doesnt have to bend over to get my son out of his car seat. She drives a Ford Focus wagon right now.
Well she drove my xB for the first time today and she wants one really bad now.She astually said it was fun to drive. She has never said that about a car before. She hates to drive sticks in most cars but loves the xBs short clutch. She likes the way you sit up in the drivers seat.Well I think we are going to go trade in the focus on a new BOP xB.

Really...my hubby and I were there. We had both of our boxes there but we hung out around our cars mostly because my husband was burning up a storm (we didn't think when we left in the rain that there was going to be so much sun).

I got some pics of the event...http://scion.meetup.com/30/photos/

Did I get a pic of yours? I may have met you. It was my first time out at a m&g and it was a lot of new faces to get to know.

I hope to see you at the next event!!!

Congrats on joining the Two Box Club! My wife was the same way.......she just LOVED her xB soon as she got in it.

It was the opposite with us. Got rid of my 88 Caprice, took my wifes 92 Buick RoadMaster (read HOG), and leased an 06 BSP xB. That was last Oct. With gas prices, I got rid of the Buick and took a loan for my 06 SM xb. The Mrs is a bit miffed that I got the audio controls.....and that we bought mine. Oh well, less than 2 years from now we will buy her a new car too! Two Box Family.....and loving it.

My wife drove the box a few times and has said the same thing. She wants one now too. I am debating on getting her one though because everytime we buy a new car she always says the same thing and then steals my car. So my new car becomes her new car. Except this time with the gas mileage and my work, she is not getting the box. We'll see, maybe we will get her one too.

My husband says he wouldn't mind having an xB. He had this idea of taking the seats and stuff out of the back and putting a headache cage behind the front seats and converting it to a work truck. He's a locksmith. But he says his xB will have to wait until a) he wins the lottery or b) he gets a giant contract from a giant company. Mmm that would be nice...

Two box's are better than one?!?!?
Actually a friend of ours got a black xb and her hubby got a white xb. They traded parts (hood, ground effects, and door handles) looks good! Easy and cheep mods.

I had to dig the thread back off page 2

My wife ordered a salsa red XB, it finally arrived from port on Sunday ... we looked at it yesterday and she loved it. This thing was so new they hadn't even put the rear bumper on yet (It was sitting, wrapped up in tissue, in the trunk)

We're waiting on the title to arrive now, and she'll be driving home with it either tonight or tomorrow!

The more I read about people getting two xB's the more I want another. I wish I had gotten a new one and not the one my parents handed down to me. It's still awesome though. My Dad even said he would buy me one off eBay (great prices!) but stupidly I said no and he went out shortly after and bought Prius. I feel so retarded.
