I feel your pain man. Last summer I was parked in front of my house when the collections truck from the Rescue Mission ( a charity!!!) backed into my xB.

Needless to say I was also pretty upset.

well at least your car was parked so your insurance technically wont go up since you weren't moving at the time. but its a big mess to deal with. GL with that man!

Man that sucks . . . . I'd have totally flipped out on the guy for hitting my parked car.

But heck yeah, i'd take this opportunity to really get extravagant with the paint. Plus now you can actually have the front end and sides sprayed a little thicker on the bottom so rocks won't be such a worry anymore!

3000 is about right for the damage. I had a similar damage on my accord and it cost 3000 but i had a nice deductible..

Looks to be quite repairable, however. It could be a lot worse, like some of the obliterated ones we've seen in pics...

Getting good bodywork is always a hassle- the business is unbelievably cutthroat, being controlled by insurance co's and driven entirely by price... Check out the end product of any shop before you commit...

And be sure to check out your Xb thoroughly at different angles when finished. It took two redo's before the paint actually matched on mine.

Good Luck!
