The latest issue of Grassroots Motorsports Magazine has an article on the Scion phenomenon, with alot of pictures of my box and other local Scions... unfortunately it's what my xB looked like several months ago before I changed a bunch of things. Oh well, cool to have your car in a magazine anyway. Props to J.G. Pasterjak for the great article.

Does anyone know why Photobucket doesn't seem to be working? I noticed other people's posts aren't coming up with images either... wierd.

I had friends in the Shelby Dodge club back in 1990 or so that had their cars in Grassroots motorsports. That is a good performance car magazine, not the fast and furious crap in all the other compact car mags.

Hopefully you can see the images in that thread since the photobucket images seem to be not working too well on my end...
I need to take some decent pics once my little overhaul is done, should be in a few weeks.

My xB is sorta famous too. Tone-Loc and Sir-Mix-A-Lot have both been in my ride.

Kinda cool if you like old school rap.

Well, my xB was one of the first the dealership here decided to dress up. There was a concert in town and Mix and Loc played the concert. The dealership had some hand in sponsoring the concert and it was a nice photo op. I think they have pix of the event. I should see if they have them. I never really bothered with it.

Mix still lives in WA state. He talks on the CB, well pretty much on just one channel. Very cool guy. Very nice station.
He wrote a song about it. Never got released but you can find it on the interent in quite a few places. Called Bump It Down.

 

That's kool, I used to live right around the block from him when I was younger.
