Thumbs down Navy blue scion = Accidents?!?!

Okay, call me crazy, but my navy blue scion xb has been hit 5 times total. And I'm not just talking little dings.

The first time, a huge truck was in front of me. They "didn't see me," reversed into me before I had a chance to reverse, and crunched my entire left front side/left door in. It was major damage.

The second time, I wasn't in the car. Someone reversed into it while it was parked on an empty block. A witness said the driver acted as if they didn't see my car as they reversed out of their driveway. That time, too, my left front side and left door were completely smashed in. Major damage again!

The third time, I was driving it and someone made a left turn straight into my car, as if they didn't see it. That fortunately left almost no damage on the side of the car.

The fourth time, I was parked on my street. Someone reversed into the left front/left door FOR THE THIRD TIME. They too said they "didn't see my car" and thought they had more room. Again, major damage!

The fifth time, which was like... 3 days ago, my left back was hit while my car was parked. Of course, they didn't leave a note. Lovely!

Please tell me i'm not going crazy! The toyota dealership said they don't get why my car has been hit so many times. My friend has a navy blue nissan cube and has had similar accidents.. so who knows..

Some cars are bad luck. I use to own an Integra that was like that. It attracted bad drivers before and after I sold it (my friend's Dad bought it and got in a few fender benders that weren't his fault). I think its been hit a total of 10 times and was broken into twice.

There was a while when I was having some similar bad luck. I was backed into at a light (white Saab 96), run into at a light (white Saab 96), and backed into at another light (red Porsche 914). My wife had someone open their door into her car as she drove by (Black VW Jetta GLi). She also had someone run into the back of the VW at a traffic light (she was 3rd in line. The light turned green. The fourth in line car took off first). And she also had someone smash the rear of her silver Camry in a parking lot.

So that's white, red, black, and silver. I think the problem is that most people may have an eye on where they are going when they are driving, but they have no idea of what is in front of them.

Best of luck with it,
MD

did these accidents all happen at night? cause I'd say the BOP blends it with the night better than my BSP. Mine just looks too dark, but your's is just the right mix of night to blend in.

well...no offense...but nearly every time somebody hits another car...it is because they didn't see it. but it really just has to do with your area, and where you part your car. try not to park it somewhere that it is likely to be backed up towards by other vehicles.

sucks that your box keeps getting hit, but the color has little to do with it. just keep it parked in well lit, out of the way areas. also, statistically, yellow and red cars get hit more, and they're even more conspicuous.
