Default Need help on getting an exhaust system for my xB PLEASE HELP

Alright im in the market for an exhaust system for my xB I already have a injen short ram intake.
Basically I hate 99.9% of the exhaust systems out there because they are all too high pitch and just sound like complete crap, you know like they're farting.
Anyways I want something that is going to be deep, low, and rich sounding what do I get???? PLEASE HELP!!

magnaflow mufflers have a nice tone to them....so do borla....its mainly the aftermarket systems from el cheapo companies that sound cheap tinny and high pitched

i gotta say that i agree with SCIONXB04 cuz i just got magnaflow on my xB and it sounds GREAT! the guy that installed it was a buddy of mine n got me a good deal. he told me that he would definitly recommend either borla or magnaflow..thats kinda funny that they were both listed as recommended exhausts...that must mean SOMETHING!!

A'PEXi N1 Axel back if you can find it, or Universal should do fine. I have the Axel back, thats the only mod I have and it sounds great!

i agree that MagnaFlow has the quietest soft deep tone exhaust...and yes, it's legal. However, i'm running Branzach Zeo Series exhaust...which is abit louder and deeper than most exhaust. And it's not one of those cheapy ricer high pitch exhaust...it is surprisingly low and deep.

For Magnaflow...i think u need the whole Cat-Back in order to gain performance and the rich deep throaty sound.

Get the PrecisionMuffler.com axel back exhaust. It uses a Magnaflow muffler. PM stylis for detail or check out his post in the group buys forum...

i've heard a few exhausts (trd, blitz, 5zigen) on both models and none of them didn't have that whiney noise that most honda's have. toyota motors have always had a very deep sound. the best example the 2ZZ which revs to 8400rpms still sounds deep compared to the b18 and k20 when an exhaust is installed. it doesn't sound like a V8 no exhaust can duplicate that rumble but it also doesn't sound tinny and whiney. its deep a sound for 1.5l 4cylinder.

Also, does any one reccommend the TRD Sport Muffler?

The borla cat back is not avaiable yet. I have the borla number for the axle back, I found this later. The axle back I have is 275.00. I have yet to get the borla part number for a price on the cat back.

Go with MAGNAFLOW.

Stylis can hook it up. They have a great system right now with a real good price that's hard to beat.

I'm curious myself. Is the TRD Sport Muffler good? I don't like the deep sound. The Magnaflow sounds ok, does TRD sound the same? Anyone can point me to sound bytes to TRD muffler?

don't waste your money on a TRD muffler... it's dissapointing on all fronts, ie sound, looks, and performance.

Just call stylis.. he'll help you find the exaust that's right for you
