Default Need Opinions on a used xB

HI guys... i'm looking to jump into the crowd soon, need opinions on a deal. I was shopping ard for a new xB, then found a used one, 6 months old with 7K miles on it. The offer was 14K but I managed to get it down to 13K, wondering whether it is worth 2K to get this instead of a new one. I have checked carfax and everything is fine and the car looks and drives brand new. Any thots?

Buying used is always the better decision, financially. As long at the car is in great condition, jump on it. I would have bought used if I had the option

Hell, for the money that you saved you could buy the 7 year/100k warranty and a bunch of accessories What kind of options did the car have on it?

personally, i would just get a new one. but that's my .02 cents. maybe it would be worth it if you are extra tight on money. and your not picky about your cars or the one that is used.

Thanks for the quick replies! Well, I'm looking for the best deal possible, and buying used is not a problem so long as the car is in good condition. I have checked around online and it seems like this is the best deal I can find for now... esp since the model is so new that used ones are hard to come by.

Yes options... that would make a world of difference won't it? ... This is a silver box, auto, base everything except for floor mats and remote keyless entry. I can't find the first aid box anywhere tho

Keyless entry is standard on the xB.

7000 x $0.12 = $840 just in mileage

They bought a BRAND NEW car and drove it off the lot. That's gotta count for more than a grand in depreciation.

I'd work on 'em a little harder. JMO, for what its worth.

The first aid kit is in the black binder with the owners manual... I think my Cub Scout kit was better equipped. There's not even a snakebite kit.

Thank guys for all your input! Final price was $12965, best price the dealer could give or he won't be allowed to sell it (or so he claims). I think it's a fairly decent price since I'm looking to save money and the 2K can be used to get the extended warranty and a nice set of rims :D

Oh, and I also found the First Aid Box with the owners' manual too, thanks for the tip

Thanks again guys! This community rocks!
