My new xA had about 160 miles on it. No worries; I've had it for over a year and there's yet to be a problem. It's still a new car, regardless of how far it's been driven to get to you.

Technically if you do you have a problem, its not going to show untill a little later down the road. I'm sure its fine, but i'm just saying. Most problems don't show till much, much later.

Do you mean ordered it from toyota?

If the car hasn't been to a dealership, chances of the car having more than 3-5 miles on the odo is rare. Most have had 2 miles or under if it hasn't been to a dealership prior to getting to you. (aka no test drives)

mine had 2 miles on it...oh the test drive before signing the papers, I tripled the miles on the car. (WHen I got back it had 6 miles on it.) It was cool at the time, but it hurt that much more as I saw the odometer go up. Now I'm up to 4000.

I'm over 60 and have always thought 55 mph is just a suggestion whilst running the ridges. Heel & toe is NOT a dance step!

I think some people make way too big a deal on having no miles. A few miles isnt going to hurt anything. Just have them check it over when it gets there and its going to be fine. Mine had 7 miles. It was inside so Im sure everybody sat it in. Its got 15k now and its still just fine even though I dont baby it.

I just got my FMxA on Friday. Ordered him in. Was at the dealership with 1 mile on it. They drove it to fill the gas tank up and it was sold to me with a whopping 2 miles on it. :: does a little dance :: I love my thumper. he just goes so nice.

When I sat in my xA, it had 31 miles on it.. test drove it, and then it had 35 miles on it.

I've had it a month and a half and it now has 3500 miles on it. *sigh* I keep seeing that odometer go up and up. lol

(i drove to PA from Indiana over thanksgiving that was about 1000 miles round trip)

Its disheartening to see the milage go up, but hey, its still new!!

its psycological, when you buy something new you feel better knowing thier is no miles on it, especially buy someone else. I got mine with 3 miles..........

Just picked it up.

Had 99 miles. My wife was too excited to even realize.

By the way....the Salsa Red is HOT! Was a little worried not being able to see it before ordering but am VERY happy with it.

Mine had about 27 miles on it or so... I also test drove it so maybe 1 or 2 were from that. No biggie!

One way to look at it is that if anything went wrong with the car during those miles, they will most likely correct it, saving you a trip into the service dept. To do something detrimental to the car that won't show up for many miles down the road is pretty hard to do unless its intentional.

And just to play Devil's advocate, I used to work at a dealership and did MANY dealer trades and although I didn't beat on the cars, I didn't exactly baby them either...

I'm picking up my IIP xA today!!!! I'm so excited! The paperwork reported it as having 2 miles on it. If it has many more, I will be a bit disappointed, but after almost 7 weeks of waiting, I can live with it.

On a more disturbing note, a friend of mine used to be a "runner" for a Volvo dealership and has told me some crazy stories of racing brand new Volvos with other runners driving from one dealership to another. I'm sure the cars can handle it, but if some kid (or old man) takes my xA over a hundred, I'd be pretty ____ed.

I Sold my car to a customer she had it for about 350 miles and then for some good reasons she had to bring the car back. We had it sit around for about 3 hours till I grabed it lol.

I have seen people get all worked up over 2 miles on there new car OMG its really not that big of a deal.

When I get a costomer that is giveing me crap about something that small, I tell them to go home (in a nice way) with all the people I have looking at the cars why do I need to spend all my day with some jack.
