nice sig tanakasan - that is the new Hot Wheels Mystery Car xB. Seen it on the bay and on the 08 HW poster, no luck on finding one in the store or seeing any other HW collectors come up with it

Yes, until receiving this one, have only seen pics on eBay and some HW sites.

I have a connection for mystery's this year. Have not found another xB. Seems to be HTF.

Got this one on eBay. Only one I have seen for sale so far. I bid really big on it (for a new HW anyways) and got it for a great price. Not sure there are a lot of these in the mix. Of course, you can get three kinds of mystery corvettes this year.

Malaysian seller had only two, he kept one for his collection. Have not seen another "in hand" anywhere. He said "he only bought two" leads me to believe that he has a hook up @ Mattel?

Nice lamp display. My living room isnt big enough to display my collection

Off topic, but I picked both of these up recently. I am removing the tampo on the orange one. I like the white tho.

had those two tCs for a while. Seen the white tC in person.

Got one of the new mystery xB the other day. The Mattel rep for our store knew I collected Scion toys and brought my two of them. The cool thing is that one is in the black case and the other has a clear cover like the regular Hot wheels. She had that one custom packaged for me. She also said they are on their way to retail stores in the next month.

Maybe thats why I cannot find another! I've been across a fair number of black blisters in the last month.

Oooh a "No Mystery Mystery xB". Fun! Keep that clear blister intact! One of one known so far = rare.

The one in the clear blister...does it have a grey, blue or orange cage? Or some other color?

None of the Mystery Car codes match. The codes are useless and shall remain useless until Mattal creates a data base for tracking what cars have what codes. For example, you can have 10 differnent codes and only one car.

The Mystery xB has not hit the shelves yet, and I dont know what HW case it will be in... yet. As soon as it pops up on the HW Collectors forum, Ill fill you guys in.

I wonder what the meaning of the codes are for then???
I can't wait for the new wave of xB stuff to come out. I also wonder why xB2 and xD stuff is so slow to hit the market?

For the big "Mpire" to squeeze more $$ out of collectors. Mattel knows something, but why release the codes when people buy more that they ever would trying to break the code or find a select vehicle? Marketing genius I say.

IMHO, gen2 does not have the "WOW" or "I'm here, look at me!" power that the gen1 (still!) has. How many people go up to gen2 owners at the gas station or supermarket to stare and ask questions? Remember those days?

Gen2 owners, no disrespect, but there is only one xB. Still rockin' after all these years!

I was wondering myself if there will be much in the way of xB2 cars out there. I just don't think it is different enough to draw the interest IMO.

Mine also. Must be standard issue for the mystery xB. I guess they had to do something other than an X-Raycer with new tampo only.

they are probably on their way. only one so far is the ridemakerz one. i recently bought some Corolla Rumion toys that are very similar to the xB2. If anything, Matchbox will probably be the first to come out with something here in the states. The main reason the 1gen xB toys came out so fast is that the Japan bB had already been out for a while and already had a diecast lineup. All that had to be changed was the interiot of the toys.

Other than the newest Choro-Q xB2, this is the only one I've seen. Signed by 5Axis Troy Sumitomo:

This gen2 xB is produced by "Ride Makerz." The toy company is an affiliate of "Build a Bear." You can order the xB from the website with additional accessories. The cars are available in free rolling or radio control. Check out the website. I hope this helps some of the gen2 guys find something to call thier own for now.
