Hey guys, ive been looking into getting my Tc to walk evos and sti left and right...sooo.... ive been viciously looking for different things to do to it. Well Chris Rado(Toyota Racer) has the worlds fastest import...7 Sec Scion Tc...O Chyeaa... but hes running basically the same engine in his as in the stock tc except for instead of using aluminum pistons, hes got die cast pistons in his. Now, looking at the numbers, stock tc pushes out 160hp but his runs 150??? So how can he be pushing a 7 Sec car? Well, i think its because the die cast pistons allow him to push for higher hp. Well, I raced a celica yesturday that got me thinking. The 01-03 celicas have a 2ZZ-GE engine which are 1.8... 2.0 VVT-Li...yes, Li's..Thats like a vtech instead of the mini vtech we basically got in ours. Well the Li is ment for higher RPMS so enables us for higher speeds!! that engine pushes out like 190 but if we can bore it out a lil more...maybe making a 2.0 a 2.2, we'd be almost as big as what we have now, just 10x faster?? I dont know, all i know is that its also ment for 6 speed, and with a simple super charger and that engine they were able to push out 250 like nothing. Now for mine, im going to try for making the 2zz engine a 2.2 and turbo'ing that beast! lolz. Well guys....Hit me up. i need responses...Hopes...put downs.... Chyeaaaaa!!

lol yea the body is a Tc...thats where it ends...you ever see his engine bay? plain as day its no longer a Tc anymore...but then again there are 2 cars correct? a drag version and the other "show" version he has...are you confusing one for the other?

 

it's a full on tube chassis car with a longitudinally mounted 3rz motor that is fully built and running very high boost.

think more than a quarter million dollars worth of car

rado has a black one pushing 500hp but i don know his 1/4 mile time

 

that's the autocross/drag one , lol. primary objective is auto x . i don't remember having quite 500 horse though.
