Oh LOL yeah same here with all the stores.
My brother is a HUGE hotwheels collector. He drug me to Toys R Us once. We were there before they opened. There was another guy in the parking lot. My brother whispered to me "He is here for Hotwheels too" I just thought he was making a joke. When the doors opened it was a race. My brother and this guy RUNNING for the hotwheels!
Did I mention that my brother was 32 at the time????

I was planning on hitting up some of the stores here yesterday after seeing clients, but it was getting late so I came on home. Probably look around this week, especially at KMart for the blue variation.

The Hot Wheels X-Raycers XB (red) shows up regularly in Wal-Mart. I have about 6 extra as proof. You probably will not have much luck finding the blue Kmart version. They were only released for the one day event and there weren't any left after in my area. Any that might have been have surely been picked up in the 3 months since. There may be good news because I found a blue one in Wal-Mart the other day. Either someone returned it there or Hot Wheels had extra cases and they found there way to Wal-Mart. It's happened before.
As for the Faster Than Ever cars, be diligent and regular in your search. They are only making the FTEs for 6 weeks so they will disappear very soon. Collector's are working hard to get FTEs they like so don't wait around and hope one will be there later.
