Default New interior mod .

Finally had time to start this Mod. I choose to paitn it blue since the graphics, wich im doing by my self to are going to be blue. It will be a black and blue theme box. I know im not the first person to do this but it was a PITa do take everything apart, specially the little thing in the steering wheel. I paint everything that was silver in blue. Also i will be adding LED in side the car to, all blue, about 10 of them, and outside too.

OOOO I like...especially around the steering wheel. The blue up by your speedo and clock doesn't seem to match the rest though....

I like the color contrast. I think there is just too much black inside, so trim in a different color breaks that up. Looks good together. Nice mod

I have something similar going with white. I don't personally like the color, especially on a BSP box, but you did do a good job. I'd paint the ring around the speedo and get a wheelskin to match. Have you changed the temp control lights? Have you painted the window controls and interior door handles? You should if not. They're super easy to take off and replace. I still need to paint my steering wheel things and the auto handle thing. I'm still debating on what to do around the speedo. I'll probably just paint the ring and not the surround on the idiot lights.

Please post pics of the steering wheel painting. I'm quite scared of the airbag.

dont be afraid of the steering wheel. the airbag only has poer when the battery is connected. if your that concerned about the airbag, disconnect the battery for atleast 8 minutes, then work on the airbag. you can take the airbag out too to make life easier. their are two Torx (R) bolts back there to remove. fairly simple

MAx I did paint the window control and the door handles,

painting the steering wheel thing was a PITA. When I took them out I realice that there was no way out and the little clip that hold it in teh steering wheel broke. But A little bit of glue fix everything when I put them back. Also I paint the handles that are in the back of the driver seat and passenger. and a couple thing. the only thing I haven't paint and will be the last thing is teh cover of the speaker on the front door. that gonna be a lot of work sinc they don't come out. so Im gonna hvae to take the hole panel out and cover it and just paint the "grill" that cover the speakers.

I like how your interior look. I think that in your car will look better if you only paint the ring around the speedo and not the hole thing. ALso you should paint the little thing on the shift stick and the one below it.

What paint are U using. Im using krylon. 4 layer or krylon and 2 layer of clear

Do all those pieces just basically snap in and out? We're afraid we're going to break them. :D

Rustoleum for plastic and Rustoleum clear. It has a great finish.
