Default New Michelin Radius Wiper Blades

As some of you know im the automotive department manager at the local wally world and we recieved this stackbase with new michelin wiper blades... At first glance i walked right by just another display but upon further inspection I realized that these blades looked different... I removed them from the package and was suprised to see that is is solid rubber, no metal supports what so ever. kinda pricey @ 14.97 per blade... but i had to try them...

absolutely great... i like them and they give that different unique look that i really enjoy.

what ya think?

Trico, Bosch, and several other companies have been making them for a year or so now. I haven't had a try with the michelins but the trico ones died less then 4 months after I put them on. Luckily a distributor gave them to me to try out. The Bosch my bro uses on his camry have been holding up well. Personally I'm still using the Piaa wipers I bought two years ago. They just started leaving streaks recently lol. Good lookin out though!

The look exactly like the Valeo wipers that are $20 a set on tirerack, which seem to be the best wipers I've ever owned so far.

ya i really like them, just one problem that im hoping will correct with the sun, on the passenger side were the glass meets the edge the wiper starts to raise off the glass due to the angle of the glass i have tried bending it but im thinking the sun heating it up should do the trick... but i love them and the look.

ya they hug it fine like i said its just the very tip not even a inch of it is off the glass and about 3 inches up it contacts the glass just fine... i think the heat of the sun will cure it... we'll see.

I just bought silicon wipers - BAD IDEA!!!

Damn noises w/ rain-x so now I'll ****** these up and get a 19" passenger blade to avoid it missing the bend in the windshield.

hmm my silicone wipers seem to work ok minus the non bending to fit the windsheild very well.

My silicon blades sqeek and hop along the windshield when its not completely wet - rain-x doing its job.

I'm just going to pick up some other blades or continue to wait until the windshield is wet enough to have it wipe.

Nice. My stock wipers started to skip during my last road trip after having them on for a couple hours. They made some weird funk build up on the windshield in the center and top on the driver's side. Definitely need replacements before my next long drive.

I picked up some of the michelins this summer and they do work really great. They have been on for six months so far and not one problem with them yet.

Not to change the subject but has anyone put a 19" blade for the passenger instead of using the 20" and not having it touch the windshield?

I just got back from a trip to "the Evil Giant" and remember walking right by the display. I'll have to check it out next time.

What am I thinking, In 1 1/2 years I've driven my baby in the rain twice!
