Heres a lomg story in short! I own a 97 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (awd turbo), and i had it painted 2004 Mazda RX-8 Blue (it was dark green). The body shop that does all the work for me is about 3/4 mile from my house. My roomate's younger brother works there, and the owner is super cool. I had the guy that does the air brushing, and alot of the custom paint draw me up a few drafts of my box. I showed them a pix of Boxzilla's XB since i like it alot, but i do't want to be a copy cat. I shoed them his box so they would know what kind of style i like.

I'm dropping my XB off on Wed. for them to start the painting, but i still haven't decided what i want. I'm thinking about just turning them loose, and letting them go ___ crazy on it. I gave them a dollar amount i want to spend, and they said they would "hook" me up! Its my 2nd vehicle that they will paint for me, and i've probably sent close to 12 other cars his way for painting! The owner is talking about a partial sponsorship, but who knows.

Second one. But what would the top color be?

 

The top would still be TCM.

 

please make sure that whatever colors you go with, they compliment the TCM.......

I think you should use the top design. I would use the green flames from the bottom design though.

 

Well.... I'm dropping her off tomorrow morning for the make over! The flames will be a bright green with a bit of sparkle to it, and the bottom portion will start out blue, and fade to purple. I'm not into skulls and that kind of stuff, but they are going to break it up a bit, and airbrush some stuff on the bottom part to give it some depth, and detail! From the rear of the XB it will appear that the bottom of it is purple, but when looking from the side, it'll fade to blue.

I can't wait... i think its gonna turn out AWESOME!
