Good work and craftsmanship. That's what it's all about - being unique no matter what anyone thinks. Way to go! And like others have said, I like the spinner being painted. I also like that it doesn't stick out. Nice!
Im not a fan of spinners, but they don't look too bad. As long as you are proud of your car, thats what matters most...and you didn't go to pep boys for everything.
Anyway, job well done and keep it up! Very clean and simple.

The actual rim is a very popular rim.. nothing I haven't seen before neither is the actual spinner... A for creativity and E for effort but personally I dont like spinners... I hope you managed to actually get them to spin... I hate seeing cars with spinners where the spinner doesnt sping while the car is moving... But overall good job im sure it took alot of work to get them to work properly. And as long as you feel it was worth it nothing else matters...

All spinner wheels have a little delay when the car takes off. It takes a second for the spinner to catch up with the rotating rim. I believe the weighted ones are called floaters. I think they have a wieght attached to lower portion of the spinner causing it not to rotate so that the rim looks like its staying still while driving.

Why does everyone dislike spinners, I never understood that. I mean I understand when they are on a riced out tuner car, or a off-road vehicle(HUMMER, ugh that makes me so mad), but on a clean ride I think they are an awesome effect.
Those rims look freaking badass, although IMO the inner rim is a little too bulky. I'd say if you dropped that sucker that would be one of the best looking suspension/wheel setups I have ever seen, not just on a scion but on any car in general.

Art. Unique art.
so, I know this concept guy who says the next wave is acrylic-dome faced wheels with a silver moon spaced right behind about a quarter inch away.
The thin space is filled half and half with clear water and thick, colored oil. Lava lamp, sorta look
The color can be keyed to your car and altered by opening a rubber stopper from the inside.
The cooler ones have glitter or snowflake pearl in the water and are backlit for night veiws.
For car shows and if you drive slowly, a couple of goldfish look very good but aeration is a problem. S (ushi) speed rated tires required.
Seriously, a liquid filled clear front sandwich style liquid wheel cover should be the next thing.
I am the idea man for new ideas--- here, I think I got an idea! but I'm just an idea man. Someone worshipful good at -making-
should execute this idea as a one-off.
a Moon Disk in an oven with a sheet of lexan above that and a vacuum system are all that are needed. And a tube of RTV and a hole punch and rubber stopper.
who be first?
