Hi all, I am from Littleton, Co and over the weekend I put in my order for the
new Brown Turd.. I was the 1st at this dealership to do so... Kevin, who is the
Scion manager informed me that they will start making the 2006-RS4's in October
and to be released in November.. So all you XBer's that want the new release better
get busy and put in your order now.... I am so excited, It will be my 1ST......

He seemed to have more info than any other dealers do currently. Did he say anything as far as what the package will include other than the color?

 

No, he has not been able to get any info.. I asked him to call me with ANYTHING,
I told him even if he finds out the littlest thing, like the tires??? So, I will post anything that I recieve to all the people out there wondering What is going on... He
just keeps telling me that Toyota is very Secretive about all of their upcoming projects. So, I guess it is a wait and see type of thing... Berly

 

Sounds like the same thing one of our local dealers has... He see's he's been alloted a RS3.0 xA and it should be delivered soon... but doesnt have any other info on it...no color, no package info... nothing cept that he's been alloted one ... gotta love it

 

Funny how business are eager to take your money but less eager to even share BASIC details with you on the product... =/ I hate that feeling... I was going to go from my 06 white xB to the new shiny brown but because of this fact, I declined.

Why let someone treat you like **** and then you pay them for it? It's a fackin' car for chr1st sakes, not a damn space shuttle.

YA, I'm with ya there. I work for a independent Toyota Shop &
they seem to do that with all the NEW stuff coming out... I do know one thing!! The reason they do it, is cause they don't
want their competitors to know what they are doing and copy
their stuff. Especially with the Scions, being it is kinda a new
company/subsid of Toyota, but I know one thing!! I'm gonna keep digging till I get what I want. I know alot of people in the Toyota Business.. So I will keep ya'll posted>>>Berly

The info that Kimbery got from her salesman jives with what I've been told.

Scion has not given me anything to indicate the package yet (honestly, they're probably still not 100% sure) which bums me out. I used to be in the loop!

Well then I suppose I'm glad my RS3 deal didn't work out. We'll have to wait another month or so and see what the details are. Kinda makes me happy having something to anticipate.

 

THANKS, I have been looking for any RS for 2 years, seems
hard to attain. I recently had my hands on a Envy Green
RS, through a friend (car dealer) who got this from the Largest Wholesale Dealer in CO, it was SWEET, 5000 orig
miles, 2004, but the Wholesale Dealer wigged out for some
reason and sold it behind my friends back... I cryed the whole day after missing out on that deal), OH, he wanted 14,500, it would have been a steel...So, I went down to Stevenson Toyota and insured that I would get my
RS without depending on Anyone but Myself. I will add pics
when I get it... SO,SO Excited!!

Well, the guy that was selling it said it was a 2004, so that kinda makes me wonder now, what the *@#!!!There was something fishy about the whole deal anyway, but no worrys now, I know what I'm getting now... Also, I called another Dealer in Denver yesterday & he was basically clueless about the new RS4, I clued him in, and asked him for any info he can get me.... He called back & said I was correct with the color and that they are releasing a RS4(duh), anyway, he said all Scion Reps were in a Meeting in INDY and couldn't talk to the higher ups... But, he was told they will be out in October!! yahoo cross yer fingers. So, I have two dealers
getting any and all info they can for me, & ya'll too!! Kimberly

Berly - I just traded my 2005 Camo for an RS 1.0 on Aug 11. IT is in the sho now getting the wiring straigtened out I am so frustrated right now!

 

Wiring, What is wrong with the wiring??? Is it all tricked out or
