Default New Scion "Declaration" Ad at Movie Theaters!

Hey all!

I just got back from seeing the new Batman movie at our local AMC Theater. Much to my surprise, there was a Scion ad at the start of the previews... and as opposed to the (few) other ads that I've seen... wow--they're finally getting the point of the individuality that the cars demand.

In case you haven't seen it, here's a copy of the ad:

http://www.coloribus.com/paedia/reel...5/512992/show/

Now, if only I had gotten the invitation for the big Scion drive in!

Take care...

Richard

i liked the 2 pictures...

i also thought the video was good minus the speech. kind of gave it a fast n furious feel which obviously is not cool. should have just had the cars and that's it.

word. i agree that the speech kind of kills it. but i guess marketing has to put that in there for corporate purposes.

Now I remember. That was that thing in Vegas where you'd have to drive there and loan them your car. My bad

Don't have that problem. Have never thought about selling mine. I love it too much, if that's possible?

Well I was thinking about selling mine, picking up a used yota or honda for winter months and a bike for warm weather, but I'm guessing you're not really thinking about bikes too much these days.

I am with you on that one Jeff.

I love the new adds, they should have done this long time ago.

Actually, I'm already back to riding daily. (have 2 bikes, Shadow 1100 and Kaw Z750S) I've also got her Rebel torn down and waiting for the new parts. The tank is holding everything up. Should be shipped by Fri. tho. Thanks for asking.

The pictures are awesome! I see alot of friends rides on both, pretty cool to see in Scion Corp print! Who else does things like this for the owners...I know it's all about branding but it's got me hooked!

These are sick, I have to think differently about the speech, cause without the speech no one would get the whole point that its shows how each persons car makes them different. so i think the speech was well put. its not like its calling anyone out to race just telling everyone that we are all different with our cars.

i just didn't like the feel of the speech. it took a a classy advertisement highlighting the vehicles of scion and overshadowed it with a fast & furious and 8 mile feel.

they should have just had a clean looking guy and girl together share the same speech but without the attitude of that guy. i thought for sure after his speech he was gonna break out with some wick'd freestyle rhymes yo

since this was made to present who scion owners are to the rest of the world, this advertisement would be better presented with clean, fun, young people who are just into a car that's different from all the others on the road.

i agree that the speech killed it. well, at least the guy's voice killed it for me. all in all its a badass commercial. definitely worth driving up to vegas for. even though the box sustained some damage, it was pretty quick to be taken care of by corporate.

i'd do it again
