Default New Under Construction project

Ok so i got this already way way way deep into construction. ANd it has a long way to go but wanted to share.

I got the car and within 2 days it was painted(not final paint but not 5 different primers), all air was fixed and leak free, dash was switched, seats, tires, almost all engine, long road ahead still.

Even got a stereo in but no pics yet, nothin pretty just a jl 10, oh and i got it sitting on the ground. No power steering though anymore.

I hate to be all negative and such, seeing as you've put a lot of work into this, but the body gaps and fitment around the headlights/hood look really bad...

It looks like a good project car... but I gotta agree with nacho, make the fitment the first thing you work on.

Ok you guys, i bought the car like that.. And i can't fix the fitment. How do you get lights out of a bumper that dosn't come off. Leave a gap. I am working on that though, only so much you can do, gots to get creative.

The lower pictures are 2 days after i got it, and notice the top pics thegap has been fixed mildly. more tocome.

Maybe try to do some custom headlights and trun signals with dual projectors from something else. Mold it all together and access the lights from behind. You could add those old scholl headlight brows you were telling me about. It would give it an evil look.

I was kinda thinking "Unibody"... but moldy works as well

Good luck with the project EmoDeathKill... looks like it would definitely be fun.

so this thing needed a TON of work right off the bat?
I remember when it was blue, and had been for sale for over a year. Seller told me there was nothing wrong, just needed to be finished, mostly inside.
I was looking at it and was thinking about it, but I change stuff and work on my cars too much for me not to be able to take stuff off the car(ie bumpers etc) and did not really care for everything being molded to the car. I knew it would just be probs for me.

I am glad you are working on it and trying to make it better, and will be watching for updates as well.

you have already cleaned it up nicely, and you have major ***** to dive into a project where someone else had made such unique mods.

the thing is, the majority of the work looks good, it's just a little fine tuning in my opinion.

would look nice with the fuel filler door shaved and relocated somewhere inside the bed

are u keeping those same wheels?

and does that back side window still go down? it'd be nice if it still did

keep us posted on updates
