Just got back in from Philly last night-Gus the Groundhog calls...but

I am going to start looking for the ambulance again. Hopefully they have not all came out down here already. Both of the eScalper ones are in SoCal.

I am talking about the yellow ambulance xB. Score: Me=0, Targets=0, nothing but goose eggs. Only two I know of are on eScalp right now. Tempted to step up on one, All in all, $15~20 won't kill me, but...

Crap, I wish I could sell mines for $15~17 PLUS shipping! They basically end up costing around $8-10 each after all the "empty runs" that get made. I'm not lucky, just persistent.

Just as a note, the first B&W I got on a Saturday, then the others all were had on that Wednesday and Thursday, within a 2 day period. Have not seen them since. Means if you have to go to work (don't we all?) probably will miss them.

FYI, the computer quantity is not always the "on hand" quantity.

I have gone to stores with supposedly 10 in stock, to find only a few. Or none at all.

They said that sometimes they are sold but not updated yet, sometimes misplaced in the store itself somewhere or in the back or sometimes even stolen.

The worst of all is that the computer quantity is wrong so they don't order any more. Oh, that was for the new 2008 Matchbox Superfasts at Walmart. Whatcha gonna do?

My .02 from the twelve Targets and nine Walmarts within a days round trip from home.

 

the ones here don't go by the computers, they actually go to the department and check the shelves, cause they don't have a clue whats in the back

 

Before I left Toys R Us I had their inventory up to date. They can check an item number and see the location in the back room. Just wish others would adopt it and keep on top of it.

 

I tried three Targets this weekend and it was like pulling teeth to get an associate to look up inventory on their little handheld scanners. So much for customer service. No luck in Salem or Wilsonville for any cop or paramedic Maisto xB's.

 

Some of you need to deal with the diecast scalpers, who are there at the crack of dawn! They get 1st crack at the new diecast and if they have an insider, you won't find new stuff for a LONG time! Also, ALOT of diecast isn't in stores at the same time. Different parts of the country get stock at different times of the year. This has been going on for a VERY LONG time...
