Default Not kidding, a Turbo 911 was racing me on the freeway!

I say he was racing me because it was all in his head. I was driving in the carpool lane on the westbound 91 freeway through Corona, Ca at roughly 75 to 80 miles an hour. I am just behind a new silver Turbo 911 driving in the fast lane to my right. I am admiring the car and watching the spoiler go up and down as he drifts between 75 and 80. He has to slow down a little for traffic and I continue at 80. I come even with him and look over at the driver. Apparently he took that as a challenge and he changes lanes and floors it. I can tell you that that car can move. I continue in the car pool lane at my same 80 miles per hour. He has to slow for traffic and i come even with him again. He floors it again! This continues for a while, as I was the only one in the carpool lane and he has to slow for traffic. My wife and I are laughing at this self-absorbed a-hole who thinks I am challenging his manhood. He gets ____ed and flips me off and floors it again, cutting people off to get ahead of me. I just could not believe it. Eventually traffic opens up and he is gone, so i kept looking for him either pulled over or wrecked. No such luck. This just reinforces the image of sports car drivers overcompensating for their tiny junk. At least now I can say that I can hold my own with a Porsche!

Tiny junk, but fast as hell ride! Racing on the 91 is a no no especially with the fugged up highway conditions from Green River to the 15. Hella bumpy. Trust me, he knows you were breakin neck on his ride. I would have too.

It's okay. On my way to class the other day, I had a douchebag in a POS car ride my because apparently 80 wasn't fast enough even though I was flying past everybody. I don't want points on my license so I refuse to go any faster. He becomes impatient and decides to ride my ___ and turn his brights on. I try to not let it gt to me. He eventually cuts people off and gets ahead of me and slams on his break a couple times. I nearly rearended him twice. Then took off. I just wanted him gone, but then I realized that if a cop saw how stupid he was at driving, he could get in trouble.

My girlfriend, the genious that she is, had a good plan. GO fast, catch up to the white trash idiot and make it look like you're turning him in. So i caught up to him and made it look like i was reading his license plate, making it easy for him to read my lips. He didn't like that so much and took off like a little _____. I thought it was pretty funny.

I'd just love to have an xB that could dust off a Porsche. That would really make him feel dumb getting brushed off by the econo-box. hahaha a man can dream.

it's because of the box. a lot of people hate it and absolutely WILL NOT let one be going faster than them. especially not in anyway if they take it as you are doing it to "pass" them. they will do anything and everything, even speed to the point of wreckless driving to get back in front of you.

there's just something about the box. now the ford flex is fine, but scion xb... no way. not today. not any day.

^^ I agree!

Some people will gas it as I pass by just so they don't get passed by a 4 wheeled refrigerator!

Something about the box that catches their eye and their egos!

That's like running past a guy in a wheel chair and feeling a sense of accomplishment.

I did that to a GTR I was going down the 71 in the car pool lane probably about 75, I saw the GTR in front of me in the fast lane so I sped up to about 85 , knowing that there was a 99% chance he was going to "not take an xb passing him up" sure enough pffft he flew by me, and thats all you hear from those is the turbos spooling. I never changed my speed from 85. He would slow and then blow by me again, he was just showing off , which was cool because I have never seen a GTR floor it before it was quite impressive

I get the same kind of a-h0le challengers all the time. Sometimes its nice to have someone else driving faster than me, but too many do something stupid just to keep ahead. Tonight, some guy in a 350z did some lame lane changes with no signal cutting 2 people off, then had to change 3 lanes to get off at the next exit.

When I want to give someone the worries, I'll come up beside them and then stick my camera up and start snapping. Even if you don't get a shot, they wonder where they might show up...

The 911 spoiler raises at 75 mph and lowers at 50 mph.

So unless he was dropping 25mph ...which is quite possible, when he accelerated back up to 75
she would have molested you accelerations wise.....

Unless there was a car in his lane... It wasn't a dragstrip, it was a freeway... Can be quite the equalizer...
