who got himself in the leg with a S&W.
He drives a big lifted Sierra now if that tells you anything.

VLSI Mask Design Specialist -- which is a fancy name for computer chip layout technician -- at IBM. I've been almost 30 years with IBM, doing chip layouts for the past 15 of those years . . . .
I am a bike-cycle mechanic.
I love what I do a for a living now, and the company I work for is one of the best in the business. I have been doing this for a while it's my first real love. Oddly enough I was told when I was young it would never pay the bills, so I went to automotive school and was an ASE Master Tech in an earlier life. I worked at a very high end car modifiy, restoration, repair center. We did alot of really cool fab stuff and that lead to my love for playing with my xB. I still say this is the best car I have ever owned, and I have had some fun cars but the xB has been the most fun.

I myself am an electrical engineer, working as a civilian for the Department of the Navy, Aviation. I'm in the wiring branch and deal with signal and power distribution for our aircraft, cradle to grave design, install, maintenance and disposal support.
My wife graduated with a degree in nutrition, but due to her medical condition with MS is unable to currently work. it was actually the reason I got an xB, it came with a rear-entry wheelchair ramp.
Tim, my other cars were used POS mobiles, this is my first new vehicle and it's so much better to owrk on and modify. I don't think I'll ever drive another N/A vehicle after this, will have to go either factory charged or aftermarket.
I am the Projection Manager at The Grand Theatre...
I put the movies together, play the movies, fix the movies, pretty much without me we would be an overpriced concession stand...

I was also a bike-cycle mechanic for most of my life, managed some shops too. It didn't oay the bills up here so I neded up working in the freight business and got promoted to being a freight analyst.
Pays well but still recovering from a financially strained year last year with my girlfriends consulting business being really hit and miss, so little things are coming here and there but value shopping is a big part (just got springs, tailights and spacers as an early christmas gift-now I just need some good weather after christmas)
