Default Official New Owner Info

Alright, I'm a soon-to-be new owner of 2006 xB (as of tomorrow)... and I've spent the past hour or so scouring through threads for new owner advice. What I found was about a thousand threads that went: "Hey, I just got one, what do I do?" and everyone responds "cabin air filter."

So I thought it would be nice to start an official "Welcome to the ownership club" thread with the basics for new owners (perhaps make it a sticky?).

Please post any fundamental new owner information you have (aren't you not supposed to go over x mph for the first y miles? I forgot the numbers that I had read).

The first and easiest mod that can be done is to add a cabin air filter.
There's already a great resource for this information under the TECH section... so I will link it:

Couple of links on breaking in period:

Hard to derive any concrete info from those... if anyone has a final word on this that would be great. Some say that the motors are pre-broken in, and some say they need break-in.
