I've hauled our 6' christmas tree in it one year, and I can fit in a Honda Ruckus too I think. If I pull the passenger front seat, I may be able to load a Ninja 250.

I wish I'd taken pictures...I had a 10' BY 2' SHELVING UPRIGHT in my box once...my coworkers couldn't believe that I was able to get it effortlessly into the car AND close the rear hatch

Now they all want me to help them move

I haul a 8.5/16 foot aluminum extension ladder inside mine on occasion - the Home Depot $50 one. The front passenger seat is laid back and the rear seat is up with the ladder feet almost touching the rear window and the top of the ladder against the glove box. If the front seat was a little lower it would clear the glove box and hit the floor / firewall area.

 

Oh, I forgot about the upright sand blast cabinet. I may have pictures somewhere.

 

A friend of mine bought a brand-new $30,000 Chevy Silverado, but when it came time to pick up his parents' 42" TV from Circuit City he had to call me. The store is an hour away and we were in the middle of a week-long rainstorm. Not only did I bring the TV back from the store, but I also had to deliver it to his parents. The funny thing is that I thought I would have to borrow his truck a year earlier when I bought my TV, but it fit right in the back of my xB. Good thing, too--it rained that day as well! Ha ha.

 

I hauled an entire 16-by-20-foot wooden shed home in my xB, except for the 2-by-10-by-20-foot foundation pieces and the 4X8 sheet siding. (It took a few trips, though ;^)

 

I wish I would've got some better shots. The security guard was giving me the stink eye so I just snapped 2 and took off. I drove 90 miles like this:

 

I once put 1500 pounds of frozen fish in my xB but it was to heavy and it kept rubbing when ever i hit a bump...

Why exactly were you hauling half a ton of frozen fish in an xB?

Yeah about 600 lbs of tools I got from a ex-mechanic's wife really felt pretty heavy - talk about loaded down! Gave a smooth ride but I had to rev the engine a bit to get it to move.

I work at a fishing charter and we had to move all our fish from one city to another.

 

Not bad for a car with a 900lb payload capacity.

 

Moved a 42" plasma in mine. It went in length wise and the corner of the box just creased a hair when I closed the hatch.

Also did this: food donation for a car show. (this is after removing a few boxes.

 

Looks great... and the xB carries a new "smoke" cologune for at least a week afterward, right? I do like the ramp though!

 

Hmmm, new car scent or old BBQ smell... THat's a tough one
