Default out of xAs and xBs

When we picked up our 2nd xB on tuesday the sales man said that we got the last xB from them.He said that they didnt have anymore coming into their dealership and that they have been out of xAs for a couple of weeks now.

Anybody else heard this before??

you heard this from a salesman, enough said.

my salesman told me that he might only have 1 xb left, and when we went to the lot there was like 6 of them. most salesmen dont care enough about scions or the cars they are selling to find out that kind of info about it. IMO

They don't tend to stay on the lots long--but they are still shipping them.

I bought the only xB on the lot at my dealer. They said they had two more coming in, and they were "at the port."

Only reason why the one I got was available was because some lady backed out of her purchase the day the car arrived. Her loss, my gain.

Of course, someone else came to look for an xB while I was filling out the paperwork... went away empty handed.

Most dealers do not keep an inventory of Scion's. You have to order what you want.

I travel for work, so I was able to find what I wanted (CameoMet 5sp) at a dealer.

Maybe they sucked so bad that Toyota revoked their Scion dealership?

Scions have made everybody's list of fuel efficient, low cost, damn good vehicles in the last 6 months. Gas has hit a national average of nearly $3 per gallon. People are sick of their minivans and SUVs, but still want something to haul the family or all of their STUFF.

That makes all Scions EXTREMELY popular!! The same goes for Yaris and Corolla right now too.

I'm sold out of Scions for the time being. I do have more on the way, but some of those are sold already. Rarely do I have more than one or two sitting on my lot (excluding my demo fleet to comply with the covenant). Remember, just because you see a Scion on a lot does NOT mean it is for sale. It happens often that I have a sold unit sitting here waiting for the customer or something like that. Not everybody rushes in the moment you tell them their car is here.

So yeah, Scions are in short supply. Especially xAs and xBs. Hell, I don't have a single xA and there isn't one coming either! Have to wait for the next allocation!

xA's are crazy hot right now. 30mpg's and a sticker less than 14.5k with an auto. they were also the least produced scion in the mix.

I have 5 boxes on the lot right now.

Probably because they have to wait for the next allocation.
