I know it sounds ghetto but has anyone in here painted their Xb TCM two bottom black plastic grille silver or gray??? just wondering what it would look like instead of black. Don't really like the aftermarket grille they have for the Scion, too shiny for me.

 

Either color sounds good. Do you plan on a contrast with the car, or blending in. Either would look good. Just do all the grills the same. Flat, or Satin paint also gets rid of the shiny look of the aftermarket.

 

I painted my upper grill black and it looks great, especially with the eyelids I've made.
One word of advice is that you need to use vynyl paint or many, many, many coats of clear to keep the new paint from getting chipped by road rocks.
I have to do mine over this spring. Don't be a statistic like me.
