Default Panic feature question

Ive poured over the wiring diagrams as well as ran a multimeter through the system. Is there a constant 12v power wire that is triggered on when the panic button is pressed and when the panic is disabled shuts back off?

why is this bothering you?

anyway..if I had to guess..I'd guess there was a constant 12 volts to the wireless switch or relay

I'm pretty sure thats the only way they work

do you think that this would lead to batteries dieing prematurely, say once every year or 2

MadMike550: Its not bothering me, I have emergency grade strobes and was wanting to hook them up to the panic button so they will go off with my panic function.

Prototype80: I don't think so. I was asking if there was a constant 12v when the panic is triggered ON. When its off, there is no power coming off of the wire, so no dead battery.

you need a relay..about 12 bucks...wire the switch end of the relay to your existing panic button lights..and the rest of the relay to the lights you wanna install
