im trying to find another 3rd brake light assy and the part # on it reads PA6-M30. i have plugged it into numerous toyota parts finders with no success. Would i have to go to a dealer to have this ordered if i want one?

 

There are several Scion dealer/parts places on here that can help you out with a replacement. Watch for their adds in the top window. www.scionterritory.net is a good one. Go to their site and get the number and call and talk to parts dept. They usually take orders over the phone and ship them out.

I'm sure you could find a used one for about 1/4th that amount at www.car-parts.com

I wanna make mine LED. I tried an LED bulb and it's not bright enough. I may gut it and add a row of LEDS to match the tails

 

try using one from a Cadillac srs, they are about 70 bucks, and come with housing usually.

3.5 foot row of LEDs

 

Can the housing be shortened cherryBox? Kinda wanted to keep it the same length as the stock one just brighter.

 

yea then you would have to mount that sucker in the back window. i wanna keep the stock appearance with LED 3rd brake light though. im pretty sure im gonna use 20 SFlux 10k MCD LEDs. this thing is gonna be ridiculously bright. this is what they look like on my bike's tail light i did...

I have an 06 xb, I took my 3rd brake light out, I dont use it, I only used it for 3 months before I took it out, make me an offer, if I dont like the offer I can email you when I put it on ebay and you can bid on it....let me know, thanks
