Those wheels are the hotness. Will look good with the yellow.

Do you know the kid that's ollieing? I think it looks cool. I agree that the spacing should be kept on the window. If that's not a local kid or someone you know, you can save a lot of cash by going with the siloutte.

Do you sell Fly Paper or that new foam stuff people are putting on their long boards?

I like the Idea. If you are spending the money to Shave the rear why not have them shave the entire rear and add a bodykit with a rear plate in the bumper ( a la KenStyle Urban Bodykit) I think the lettering shouldn't be at an angle but thats just me i think

i used to own a skate shop as well, so i know as well as you do that we skaters are some of the most critical people around. With that in mind, i will say that the design is ok. It looks a little too much west coast, and a little too busy with graphics/info on the rear, in my opinion. who has time to read that much info, unless their at a red-light? as far as appeal and eye-catching quality are concerned, tip-top.

hope this helps.

As an advertising guy, I would say there's too much info on the back. Where am I supposed to look first? What's the main message? None of it stands out so there's little chance any of it will be remembered. I think phone and URL are enough for interested people. Also, the shadows and shading just make the type harder to read.

Also, I think the skater would make a cooler image on the sides. You could even turn him sideways for a more radical move. Maybe a skater on one side and a snowboarder on the other, unless you're going to change them out with the seasons.

Just my thoughts.

That's some good info.

Wow, I'm glad I put this on here before I started lettering up the box.

I want to keep the skater image on the rear. The sides I want to look more like a tuner car (witht the sponsor/brand logos and such). My first idea was to have a snowboarder on one side and a skater on the other, but I didn't like how it looked down the sides.

As for the back, I'm starting to agree that there is a bit too much going on. I think with the next photshop I'll make the TOTALLY BOARDZ bigger and get rid of the Boards, Shoes, etc... Maybe changed it around a bit more on the back.

Thanks again for the great insight and opinions.

How 'bout a Birdhouse board for my 6 year old?... his BDay is Friday and T.H.U.G. is his fav PS2 game.

Anyway, I think the graphics on the side looks good, and I woould probably lose the text you have in blue now as it seems to clutter, and most people would expect a board shop to have the "standard" boarding equipment.

Good luck with it, and put up some photos when you get it done.

Before I comment further I guess I should ask what your actual intention is -- primarily advertising, or primarily decorating your ride? Because one would shape the choices you make.

BOTH... I know that makes it difficult. I want it to look like a tuner car yet still get the promotion I need for the shop. Thats why I'm primarily going with the big graphic stuff on the back. I wish I had some photo shop images of what the sponsor graphics will look like on the side. It'll be all the product brands we sell, but all the same color and put down the door and along the side skirts if you know what I mean.
