Default Platinum vs iridium?

I am planning on gtting some spark plugs for my 2005 camo xb and I need some info. As of now i am plannin on getting the platinum plus 4 from bosch like my father suggested but I remeber readin somewhere that iridium is much stronger than platimnum. This leads to the question: Which would give better performance, the bosch plus 4 platinum or da NGK Iridium.

In the previous years my father put in the bosch plugs into the volkswagon van, honda civic and crv and all showeed obvious improvements. I know what the bosch plugs can do but i dunno bout the NGK's. I just need some help from a person who has used both and knows which one gives better performance.

...............Plugs are so much cheaper than headers and superchargers...........................

........... I think plugs are the cheapest way to improve performance.

All the new Toyotas for the most part have twin electrode platinum NGKs in them already. Platinum doesn't make that great of a spark, copper is actually better, its just platinum lasts longer. Now Iridium is supposed to not only last long but also produce a good spark. Iridiums would be way better than those bosches. However I seriously doubt you will notice any improvement in the way it drives or anything. My take is if it came from the factory with them than thats what should stay in them. Platinums are already good until 100,000 miles so its not like you are going to be replacing them anytime soon.

In the real world, you're not going to notice any difference. Save your money.

Please please please do not buy the plus4's. Just stick with factory plugs, if you absolutly have to spend money on new plugs. Go with the NGK's

If your looking for more power, get a TRD free flow air filter
or a cold air induction system.

I have the TRD and it helps a lot.
