Default Please help Maintence Required light flashing!!!!!

I recently put on my axle back exhaust and had no problem with anything. i took the silencer out of it and now it seems that my "Maint. Required " light comes on at crank like normal but then flashes 6 times after that. can someone help me with that code. it goes out after it flashes and doesn't do it again till i start the car again.

thanks in advance!

And, if one bothers to look in the MANUAL, you will find on page 81, I think, the way to reset that blinking light.

Mylight was flashing last night, (I just had the oil changed, and the guy at the dealer must have forgot to reset it); I read the manual, and now everything is fine.

ok, what you do is 1. turn the key forward and set the odometer to "total" miles. 2. turn key back to off position. 3. hold down the odo. button and turn key forward, you will see a count down on the screen, wait till it goes away and your set.
