possible scion buyer here
hey guys i recently have been interested in the xb but currently i have an 01 honda accord with 22k miles and was planning on selling it. I know its gonna be a little bias but what do you guys think, should i sell my accord and get an xb or just keep the accord? I really like the interior of the scion way more than my accord and i personally like the exterior even though my family doesnt. So im kinda torn between the two, any suggestions would be cool.
hmmm, what should you do? i'm going out on a limb here(very short one, as a matter of fact it is NOT a limb at all , more like a foot hold) and say sell the stupid accord and get the AWESOME, GODLIKE , MAGNIFICENT SCION XB, or XA if you want that one too, OR the TC that would be cool too. or you can keep the accord and allways be known as the guy who wasted our time asking questions and not taking our GREAT advise. hahaha j/k except the whole get the SCION thing , i was serious about that.

if you do like our little box, I say dive right in, it will be cheaper than that accord you brought...but you have to drive it-pay for it...so who cares what we like...if you are ready to be a part of this then come aboard...if not there nothing wrong with honda's( I own 2)
choose the one that YOU would be most happy with the one thats gunna make you smile every morning theres nothing wrong with both cars one might save you more money but if the extra money that is spent is gunna make you happy go for it like jay said there is nthing wrong with honda i may be young but i owned 4 in the past
thanks guys, i think im gonna sell the accord and get a thundercloud grey xb pretty much stock unless i can get a good wheel/tire package price. I already test drove an xb and i really liked it. I was jsut most skeptical on the power. I didnt see any problems with power on the test drive but i havent really pushed it. How is it when you get like on freeways or when you need the power? other than that i think im sold.

I too have a 96 Honda Accord and I was in the same dilema when I bought my black XB. As a matter of fact, after I test drove the XB there was no turning back and bought it right away...In the process of selling my Accord now: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5042

auto is just as good as manual i can pass up cars easily
but if you wanna race and all that this is not the car for
you but if you wanna do it in this car get the manual
i wouldnt recommend getting the AEM intake option
IMO its a waste of money although AEM is good i
would rather get another aftermarket one because
theyre cheaper and make more power but on the power
issues and gains im going by what the members of

hasnt been appraised, i did a kelly blue book value on it and it said it was around 15k plus i have 17" adr rims and some other minor mods so i guess i could say around 16k or best offer. I guess if it doesnt sell anywhere around there ill just lower mmy price or trade it in. I definatly wanna get a manual but i dont know how to drive stick, i think im gonna have a friend teach me next week and then finally decide auto or stick. Ive done a lot of thinking so far and come to a few conclusions. I dont dont drive fast, typically never go above 55 on side streets unless on the freeway in which i do around 75-80 max. I dont race so i dont need a ton of torqe or anything. I basically wanna look nice while commuting to school and around town. I love the space of the scion and the black interior as opposed to the cramped broown non leather interior of the accord. When i get home next week from my cruise im gonna throw a for sale sign up on my car and get an xb when i get the cash. Hopefully ill be able to post some pics soon but basically want mine to look similar if not exactly to this.
let me ask you some questions
1. are you lazy?
2. do you hate to figit alot?
3. is there alot of traffic around where you live (bumper to bumper)
well if your answer is yes to all
standard wouldnt be good for you
during bumper to bumper traffic
you have to keep applying the
break and clutch and keep going
from 1st to 2nd to neutral it gets
very tiring afther a while after
going thru four manual cars i decided
to stop racing and hauling a$$
and put it in drive and cruise
this is my opinion your free to do
what you like just telling you what
i went thru

Yeh, my advice is to pick the car you want. Personally I like driving a car, not riding in a car, so I picked up the 5-speed. I did own a 92 camry for 7yrs and that was an auto. Each has ups and downs, but it's what is going to make you wake up in the morning and enjoy getting in you car that counts.
Good luck with whatever you decide and welcome to the Scion family.
