I just bought a new 2006 scion with keyless entry three days ago. One problem- when I press the unlock button on my remote to unlock the car, the car doesn't respond, but the light on the remote comes on so I know the button is working. Sometimes if I press lock, then unlock, the doors will unlock. Most of the time I have to keep pressing lock several times until it locks the already locked doors, then press unlock once and it unlocks! Has anyone had this problem? The battery in the remote seems fine since the light on the remote comes on when I press buttons on it.

 

bring it back to the dealer they might have to reprogram it and if that doesn't work they'll have to get a new one.
