I purchased the protection package for the Xb....i had to take it back to the dealer after pickup to get said purchase installed...when i arrived at the dealer to pick it up , the service guy said it included a wax coating on the outside. Does anyone have any info as to what level of protection this offers? The only info the service guy said was that there was a one time application, and a every 6 mos application...so now im in the dark , i thought i was just getting scotchguard on the darn seats!!lol...Reason being , i was going to get a protective coat of something (heh heh) on the outside, at any randomm detail place, just to protect the white paint from road grime etc.. Now i am hesitant due to the fact this wax coat was already put on! Any hel p on this is greatly appreciated! thanks!

how much did your protection package cost? did you pay for the paint protector along with your fabric guard? If you didn't pay for it and they put it on, great, it doesn't hurt anything, its just like a wax. If you did pay for it and didn't want it, go back and talk to your sales rep. about it and get it figured out.

 

You can do scotchguard yourself, just get a can of it and spray it on the seats. Wax too, that takes about an hour and some elbow grease.

 

???? what was it? like a simonize or a permaplate? or something like that with teflon?
