Default questions?

hey ya...i'm a rookie to my 2006 auto scion xb...can ya answer some of these questions for me please...
-does overdrive save gas?and should i use it?
-i put in a k&n cold air intake and filter but mph seems to be the same, why?I thought it was suppose to increase my mph.
-why does my ac vent sometimes smells like fart?
-after i put in the intake, why does my check light comes on and off whenever it wants to?

Because you fart and have the vent on recirculate?

You must've done something wrong? Or because your car is scared of the dark and needs the lights on.

Do you mean MPH or MPG? You need to make sure your connections are tight and that you did not damage the oxygen sensor.............
