Hey! I was wondering if the orange lighting for the cupholder illumination on the RS1 XB was just an added color to the other 7 colors or is it just one orange light and that's it. I rather get a new cupholder illumination with the seven colors than to get one with just the orange light.

It looks as though it is a completly different setup, with only the orange lighting. If it was the regular illumination with orange added to it, I think everyone would have it. It looks like the install codes show it to be a separate one color unit...

Hey thanks Doc! I think I will buy the cupholder illumination with the 7 colors then. That is if I even ever get an R.S 1.

 

I would say, if you get the RS, to wait and see what your dealer/port installed options are... you might get them to just install the regular one instead of the orange one without charge.

Take the Orange one just to have. This way if you ever need/want the original parts, you have them on hand.
