Anyone replace their stock Xb seats with racing ones?..How are they in comparison?..Had the idae to do them.

 

i had recaro's in my car before i sold them. At that time sparco didnt come out w/ brackets yet so i had to fabricate new ones from an existing seat rail from a 4runner. we raised it about 4 inches & because of the bucket style seat i was sitting a llot lower than stock seats. So when i was shifting my hand was level with the shifter, if you ever drove a miata you would understand my point. it was kool the only thing is that i barely saw over the hood. But i never put in the sparco brackets so i dont know how low you would be & it also depends on the seats your running too. Just remember you sit high in the stock seat because of the cushion but once you switch your gonna sit lower because of how the racing seats are designed. Hope this helps you.
